Expedito e Conjunto – O Que Eu Quero de Voce (1960)

Chantecler CMG 2055

Expedito de Carvalho for the first time on Parallel Realities with his album from 1960.

Which instrument Expedito plays I can only guess by looking at the front cover, as well as I can only guess that this is really his only recording as it is the only one listed on Memoria Musical.

Every other question about Expedito and his career up to 1960 is answered and can be read in the informative and chronological (unsigned) text on the back cover, where also the following additional information is printed:

Arrangements are by Elcio Alvarez, Poly and Expedito do Carvalho himself, while the artistic direction is by Diogo Mulero.

Needles to say that the back cover also lists the compositions performed:

01. Frankenstein Rock (Ross / Morris)
02. Dolores (Hubert Giraud / Raymond Bravard)
03. Ninon (Bronislaw Kaper / W. Jurman)
04. Sofri Demais (Nelson Breves)
05. Devagar e Sempre (Portinho)

RETIENS LA NUIT by Mr Memory:
